Refund and Cancellation Policy | WeblyBase Website Builder

1. Scope

This Policy explains cancellation and refund procedures for WeblyBase subscriptions, paid themes, plugins, add-ons, and other digital products.

The refund terms shown at checkout or in a specific order may supplement this Policy. Mandatory statutory rights take precedence over any inconsistent provision.

2. Subscription cancellation

You may cancel a subscription through the available account controls or by contacting info@weblybase.com.

Unless your order specifies otherwise:

  • Cancellation stops future renewal charges after the cancellation takes effect.
  • Access may continue until the end of the paid billing period.
  • Cancellation does not automatically refund the unused portion of a billing period.
  • Outstanding amounts incurred before cancellation remain payable where legally due.

The cancellation confirmation should state the effective date and whether any further charge is scheduled.

3. Refund eligibility

Refund requests will be assessed against the terms presented at checkout, the applicable product license, the circumstances of the purchase, and mandatory law.

Eligible circumstances may include:

  • A duplicate charge for the same purchase.
  • An incorrect charge that cannot otherwise be corrected.
  • A payment taken after an effective cancellation where the charge was not authorized under the applicable terms.
  • A material failure to supply the purchased service that is not remedied as required by law or the applicable agreement.
  • Any other circumstance in which a refund is required by applicable law or expressly promised at checkout.

A change of mind, failure to use the service, or failure to configure a website is not automatically a basis for a refund, subject to applicable consumer rights and any express refund promise.

4. Digital products

Themes, plugins, templates, and other digital products may become available immediately after purchase.

If the final business policy restricts voluntary refunds for digital products after access or download, that restriction must be disclosed clearly before purchase and must not override mandatory consumer rights, statutory cancellation rights, or remedies for defective or undelivered products.

Do not publish a blanket "no refunds under any circumstances" statement without jurisdiction-specific legal review.

5. Free trials and promotional offers

If a free trial or promotional subscription is offered, the checkout must clearly disclose:

  • The trial duration.
  • Whether a payment method is required.
  • The amount and date of the first charge.
  • The renewal interval.
  • How to cancel before a charge occurs.

Any charges following a trial will be processed according to the terms accepted at signup and applicable law.

6. How to request a refund

Send a request to info@weblybase.com using the email address associated with your account.

Include:

  • Your account email.
  • Order or transaction reference.
  • Product or subscription name.
  • Purchase date.
  • A short explanation of the issue.

Do not email full payment-card details or passwords.

We will review the request and communicate the decision within a reasonable period, subject to applicable statutory deadlines.

7. Refund processing

Approved refunds will normally be sent through the original payment method where supported by the payment provider.

The time taken for the funds to appear depends on the payment provider and financial institution. Currency-conversion fees or third-party charges may be handled according to the provider's terms and applicable law.

8. Chargebacks and billing disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us promptly so we can investigate. You retain any rights you have to dispute a transaction through your bank, payment provider, or applicable legal process.

We may restrict an account in cases of substantiated fraud or payment abuse, subject to applicable law and the relevant agreement.
